Introducing Morso Wood Stoves and Inserts
There’s nothing like a beautiful wood stove to warm the home and heart. Today’s models are highly efficient, eclectic in design and built to provide service for many years. And there’s nothing like Morso when it comes to a top name and recognized leader in the manufacture of some of the best wood stoves on the marketplace.
Hudson Valley Chimney of Poughkeepsie provides our customers with a wide variety of quality Morso stoves in our store, Ashleigh’s Hearth & Home. We’d like to tell you a little about these wonderful appliances.
Morso offers a line of contemporary, classic and wall-mounted wood stoves as well as efficient inserts.
Contemporary Morso wood stoves
The contemporary line includes 14 wood stoves with heating ranges suitable for small rooms all the way up to rooms measuring 2,000 square feet. A good example in this category is the Morso 7764.
This stove generates 35,000 BTUs per hour, making it suitable for areas up to 1,200 square feet. Measuring 40 inches tall by 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep, it conveniently holds logs of up to 12 inches.
The unit features rounded contours and a fabulous view of blazing fires within the burning area. Mixing elegance and contemporary styling, the Morso 7764 was collaborated on by art icon Monica Ritterband, the first time Morso combined an artist with a stove designer.
Classic Morso wood stoves
Morso’s classic line includes nine models with heating capacities of up to 3,000 square feet. A top seller here is the Morso 7110.
A four-legged design that blends classic elements with modern flair, the Morso 7110 is suitable for rooms up to 1,300 square feet. Smaller and more compact than the 7764, it measures 26 inches tall, 22 inches wide and 18 inches deep and accommodates 16-inch logs.
Its single door features a large air-washed window that makes for excellent viewing of a roaring fire. Truly a masterpiece of design and functionality, the Morso 7110 would be a welcome addition to most any home.
Wall-mounted Morso wood stoves
For an innovative twist on wood stove installation, Morso offers three varieties of wall-mounted stoves, ideal for heating spaces up to 2,000 square feet. The Morso 7670 is a highly functional work of art, also designed by Monica Ritterband.
This convection wood stove features a large glass window for exciting views of the fire. It can be mounted to most any wall and measures 26 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 18 inches deep.
Air intake is controlled by a single grip, and the combustion system uses pre-heated air that results in a hotter fire and more heat for the room. Owners enjoy environmentally sound performance with this unit that burns off nearly all waste gasses.
Two models of inserts are available: the Morso 5660 Blower and the Morso 5660 Standard. They heat up to 2,200 square feet.
The Standard model produces high heat and burning efficiency and is made of high-grade cast iron. It features a large window and a four-sided “picture frame” for awesome, eye-appealing views of the fire. It’s truly the gold standard of Scandinavian design and function.
